Utah Diva's International WWW

The theme for Sept. is scarecrow, straw or yellow. My card interpretation is a pumpkin in a hay (straw) field. I was going for an abstract card and didn't have anything on the front right orange circle, and then decided to make it a little more traditional with the pumpkin from the Button Buddies set. Color Challenge

I was looking at the wallpaper embossing folder the other day and thought it would look cool to emboss it with tissue paper(Kleenex) So I tried it. I used a sheet of Kleenex and damped it then embossed it. I left the tissue in the embossing folder and let it dry under a heavy object; my Bible over night.

Do you remember last week I made a card for the UDI Wednesday challenge and I didn't care for it very much? Well, I stepped it up and will use that for today's entry also.
Here is last weeks and this weeks DT challenge.Notice the sentiment in the first card over powers the main focus which is the little girl? So I down-sized that , and I layered three frames over the first one, added a pretty bow, flowers and fringed grass.I think it gives it much more depth.

Do you get the impression that I'm running late with everything lately? Which is really wacky to me because I'm trying to get more organized. I have stamp club tonight and Saturday but I promise to get with the program soon.Here is my submission for WWW. at Utah Diva's International today. The colors this month are Black, Green, Purple and a neutral.I was in such a rush lately I was having a horrible time getting something for this DT challenge. I wanted to make a wacky card for this color challenge and my husband and I decided I don't do "wacky" well. I won't show you how AWFUL it was. I was moaning and groaning all night about it...poor Rick had to hear it too. The one I finally submitted was this one. Today I was looking at it and thought I can do better than that, so maybe I'll do it again and show you the newer one.
