I live near Mt. Rushmore and when my brother,his wife , my niece and nephew came to visit we went to beautiful Mt. Rushmore. If you have never visited it, put it on your bucket list. My sister in law nailed it on the head saying " it is so much more than what the photos depict it" It was so clear today that the monument shone like a white beacon of freedom. Can you tell I am passionate about it?

That's awesome that you live near Mt. Rushmore. I've always wanted to see it up close, it's a work of wonder. If the world ended as we know it and all technology is lost, one day will the inhabitants wonder how it was created like we wonder about the Pyramids.
