I'm back from Denver and starting to get over the pain and fatigue that comes from traveling, but I have to tell you I was not impressed with the RA Dr. in Denver. I'm trying to stay positive but I feel right now that it may have been a waste of time for me. I did give out all my decorated candies to everyone and they loved them. I gave one to the housekeeping staff each day also. The gal who took six tubes (?) of blood was especially glad to get them. The only time the Dr. smiled was when I gave her a piece of candy and two pencils.

Sarah, I am so sorry you didn't have a good experience at Nat. Jewish--I have moderate to severe RA and have been seeing DR. Fisher at Nat. Jewish for almost 8 years and have been always treated well. I live in Montana and they are always eager to work around my travel schedule for appts. They infact were the ones that finally diagnosed RA. While there, they discovered that my lung issues were due to RA and I am now in a research study there. I hope when all is said and done that they have been able to help you. If you need to "talk" this is my email address coolnana72@hotmail.com
God Bless
Carole
Sarah, sorry to hear you didn't have a good experience at the hospital. I still hope that they will be able to treat you and help alleviate some of your discomfort.
