Monthly kits? and Blog Candy

I want to offer monthly kits, I do already at my sidebar each month, but the ones I'm talking about now, would have cardstock, ribbon, embellishments, die cuts, 3-D project and dsp, plus some card ideas for that kit.The stamp sets used would be mostly the single stamp sets which are a great deal,or a set that can be used in many different ways. I want to incorporate the new DSP and embellishments in the new catalog, that way you'll get to use some of the new items and not break your budget.
If you would comment on this idea I'll give away some blog candy. Please leave your email address inside the comment.
Thanks!

This is an AWESOME idea...especially because I rarely buy the smaller stamps because I am not sure what else to do with them and to see other ideas for stamps so we get more bang for our buck and its versatility...and to offer a whole kit and kaboodle..LOVE the idea especially as I also rack my brain for new 3D ideas...Good Luck!

what an awesome idea! really good for someone who is on the fence about card making and the expenses.

I know once a person tries the kit they will be sold on card making and want more!

Really love the idea!

Sounds like a wonderful idea! You do such awesome projects you should do very well with that. I have been thinking about doing something like that with my girls.
Blessings to you.

I think its a great idea. I know that its fun to use stamp sets, having kits with the single stamps would be economical and probably appeal to more customers. I have a few customers that say they like making cards because they can sit down and finish it in an hour or a short amount of time and kits totally help acheive this goal. I hope it works out great for you.

I think card kits are a great idea. I have worked with card kits before, and I just love them. I have actually been known to order because someone was offering a card kit. Please let us know when they are up and running.

Very good idea...was thinking about the same thing... BUT.. you can't include a current stamp set in a kit. It's considered "cash and carry".. you need to have the option for them to purchase it from you when they buy the kit. See your demo handbook online for guidelines.

I think this sounds like a great idea. Love the idea of "kit" form, everything together.

Sarah, I think you're on to something here. I especially love the idea of kits for the single stamps that include the embellishments, as so often I shy away from the single stamps because they're harder for me to come up with ideas for, plus I spend more time dragging out all my supplies than actually creating. I wish you much luck if you decide to go this direction!

I think this is a great idea. I already buy kits from several demos and am always looking for kits using sets that I really like - such as Elements of Style, Natures Silhouettes, etc. Good luck with your venture

I think it is a good idea as it may attract more customers, new comers not wanting to really get into it but would buy a kit to try it out. When I was a demo (7 or 8 years) I had some that didn't want anything cause they thought it was to expensive, this would real them in more. Good Luck with this. I think once they are try they will be hooked.

This is great -- I think it would totally work and I have a couple in the making somewhat along those lines. Good luck -- I'm sure it will be a success.

I think this is a great idea. I've purchased kits before and I like that everything coordinates and is included like ribbons and embellishments. A single stamp is unique, most kits use stamp sets, and I think you'll sell more of the single ones. A list of all that is included is helpful. I once bought a kit and had no idea of the paper colors I was using. Good luck to you on this venture.

A great idea..especially for those beginning stampers who might purchase a set and then go "what do I do with it now?"

Good luck!!

I love the idea of using the single stamp with the kit because it will show what you can do with just 1 stamp. It's also a great way to have them add the stamp set on an order for you. Hugs and happy stamping Lori Watson

LOVE that idea!! That will be a great way to get the new stuff without a large investment. I have too much to have to use up, but I am anxious to see the new colors.
