My New Studio

Mixed Media Painting of Christ called "By His Stripes We Are Healed"
The crown of thorns is 3-d and his robe is made from fabric. You can't see very well from this view but I used diamentional red paint for the blood on his head.
I just finished putting up some paintings of mine and a collage. I'm going to need a better bar to hold my punches, it looks really droopy doesn't it? I now have a closet where I can take my photos, it even has an outlet for my photography lights. Then I can close the doors and hide all my fabric and painting supplies. My favorite spot is my cutting table. Notice I have bed raisers to add height to my table? It is a much better height for my almost six feet tall body. I have my sewing table and that area all organized. My cardstock and DSP are right next to where my wood stamps are stored. I label everything, that is my husbands fault. He bought me a label maker a few years back and I Love it! I'd like to replace some items of furniture with more antiques, but I can wait, I'm just so happy I have windows!
Thanks for looking

Love your new space Sarah!! Now that I am using my Big Shot with cloth, I wish I had room for my sewing machine in my craft room. I used the support hooks on my curtain rods in the middle sections so mine wouldn't droop, so no need to change yours.

What a great looking studio!! You gave me an idea. I'm going to paint the cassette holder I use for my ink pads white like you did. Mine is an oak color and it looks out of place in my white craft room. I just found your site and look forward to seeing more of your wonderful work.

I love your craft room but the picture of Jesus just takes my breath away. Thank you for sharing it with us.
