Here are a couple of projects I made from SU decor elements.
The glass blocks are from one of the big craft stores, or you can buy them at a home store, and have someone drill a hole in the bottom for you.
These have a hollow center and a plastic cover over the hole.I stuffed them with iridescence shredding. I think if it was filled with candy,or ornaments would be cute as well. These will take a string of lights inside,I just had green and it didn't look well.
The decor elements I used were: Holiday Mix in Real Red # 117675
